Vocation Testimony

I am from the Lourdes Matha parish of Kanjirapalli Diocese. I realized the seed of vocation to Religious life growing in me at the age of ten. I had a Sister Aunt in the Congregation of the Sacred Heart Sisters. I used to visit this Aunt every year. During one of my visit, I shared my desire to become a Religious. Their life had impressed in me a positive attitude to Religious life. After My studies with the support and advice of my Aunt, I decided to seek admission in the Cloister Carmel of Tiruvalla. My Aunt knew my great devotion to Little Flower and that I was praying to the saint to show me the way.

I came to the convent of Tiruvalla for an interview and I was accepted. I entered the Cloister on 4th June 1984. For two days I was downhearted of thinking of my parents, brothers and sisters because the separation deeply pained me. But on the third day, I heard a voice from within “you will find your parents, brothers and sisters here among the Sisters.” Today I am very happy and content in this life and enjoying life.
