Deep calls to Deep
I was born in a traditional Catholic family. Ours was a joint family of thirteen members living together happy and joyful. When I lost my father at the tender age of four my paternal grandmother told me,
‘ Jesus is your Father hereafter’. I t was my grandmother who took care of our spiritual formation. Being the youngest of the five children of my family I was loved and cared for by everyone.
At the age of twenty five I joined the Congregation of The Apostolic Sisters of Consolata. There being the eldest of the group my role was reversed to that of ‘Chechi’, the eldest sister. It was a home away from home and I grew to the fullest potential in the service of the Lord. There was a deep longing for prayer, silence and solitude which lead me eventually to Carmel. I thank God for the marvels he has done in my life
